YF Electric is an electrical contractor based in Providence, Rhode Island, doing residential, commercial and industrial work. The company is led by its owner, Yorgelis Fernandez.
In the company’s own words: “YF Electric provides reliable residential, commercial, and industrial electrical services. We specialize in electrical installations, troubleshooting, lighting, outlets, panels, wiring, EMT conduit, service upgrades, and more. Our goal is to provide quality workmanship, safe installations, and dependable service for every project.”
Quality work. Reliable service.
That line is on the YF Electric flyer, and it’s the standard on every job: a fuse box swapped for a breaker panel in a triple-decker, a chandelier over a dining table, LED strip lighting in a storefront, or a bank of EMT conduit stubbed up from a trench on a construction site.
Power you can trust
It’s printed on the back of the company shirts, and it sums up how YF Electric works: clean, safe and built to last, with honest pricing and fast communication, and every property treated like it’s their own.
Rhode Island through and through
Providence is home, and the work follows the housing here: hundred-year-old wiring in multi-family houses, panels that have run out of room, storms that knock the power out. And in a Rhode Island winter, the YF Electric name has even ended up written in the frost on a car.
How we work
Clean, safe, built to last.

We focus on honest pricing, fast communication, and treating every property like it’s our own. Our goal is simple: quality work, done right the first time.
